CBT INNOVATION PTY LTD (ABN 79 699 301 061) (we, us, our) operates the DTHC platform (the Platform). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. Information we collect
We collect personal information necessary to provide the Platform, which may include: contact and account details; business details for logistics companies and fleets; driver onboarding information such as name, licence details, ABN, and emergency contact; delivery and location information; and payment-related information needed to process payouts. We collect this information directly from you, from the fleet that registers a driver, and from our service providers.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to operate and improve the Platform, verify identity and eligibility, dispatch and manage deliveries, process payments and settlement, communicate with you, maintain security, and comply with our legal obligations.
3. Disclosure to third parties
We disclose personal information to service providers who help us run the Platform, including our payment provider (Stripe), authentication, communications, mapping, and cloud hosting providers. We disclose information between platform participants only as needed to complete a delivery (for example, providing pickup and drop-off details to an assigned driver). We may disclose information where required or authorised by law.
4. Payment information
Payment and bank account details for payouts are collected and processed directly by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not store full bank account numbers on our systems.
5. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
6. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Platform and meet our legal obligations, after which we take reasonable steps to de-identify or securely delete it.
7. Access, correction, and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. You may also raise a privacy concern or complaint with us. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
